Thank you to each and every one of our Southside families for your support and patience over the last several months. Throughout the pandemic, to continue providing the best possible care for your pets, we have had to reinvent many of our protocols while ensuring a high level of safety for all people visiting and working in our hospital. For us to continue to enable you to be as close to your pet as possible during their visit, further restrictions are necessary.
Safety Protocols During Your Visit: 🐾 We request that only 1 person accompany your pet into the hospital. 🐾 Masks remain mandatory and must be worn at all times. 🐾 Please use the hand sanitizer and complete a contact tracing form that will be provided to you upon arrival. 🐾 You will be directed to a chair at the entrance to the exam room in which your pet will be in. We kindly ask you to remain in that chair for the entire duration of your appointment. 🐾 Payments will be completed at the exam room and we will ensure that you can exit the hospital safely.
Many pets are happy enough with this arrangement but some get more worried if they can see their owners but not be with them, so we may ask for your permission to complete our exams in the treatment room. All attempts are made to reduce hospital stress for our patients. There are of course exceptional circumstances and we are doing our very best to ensure that you can be close to your pet while still staying safe in our hospital.
If your pet is not coming in for a consultation with a veterinarian, we kindly ask that you return to your car after bringing your pet inside the front doors. At this time, we do not have availability for waiting in the reception area. Payments for such visits can be completed by e-transfer or over the phone with a credit card.
A friendly reminder to check your pet's food/medication supply and let us know before you run out (ideally we would like 24-48 hrs.) to allow for your products to be ordered in, we would hate for your pet to be without any special food or meds! Our distributors are experiencing the same delays as the human world!
We continue to revise our protocols to keep your safety and the comfort of your pet top of mind. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time as we work together and make every effort to keep your visit as smooth and safe as possible. ... See MoreSee Less
